The next BIZLAB-CLARKSON LUNCHTIME ENTREPRENEURSHIP SERIES Luncheon will be rescheduled to Thursday May 21, 2020 FROM NOON UNTIL 1PM AT THE NY BIZLAB, 251 STATE STREET IN SCHENECTADY WITH Annmarie Lanesey from Albany Can Code AS SPEAKER.
AlbanyCanCode was established in the summer of 2016 to serve two key stakeholder groups: local employers of software and IT professionals, and local folks who have the aptitude to work in software but lack local options for training. Its initial 12-week course in Front End Web Development attracted more than 80 applicants. A majority of the ten final students were income-qualified for a full grant of the $1,500 tuition. Following course completion in late January 2017, nearly half of its students have now been hired or are in the process of interviewing for internships at area software employers
Tickets to attend the lunch are $10. Attendees will have time to network, eat a great lunch and hear two amazing speakers and be out the door in an hour!
If things settle down in April, the lunch series will continue on April 16th with Reg Harnish, CEO of Slingshot Cyberventures and founder of Grey Castle Security. All attendees of these luncheons have been emailed to determine if they would like to have their ticket transfered to April the new program on April 16th or if they would like a refund for previous program on April 16th.
