On Wednesday, October 16, 2019 the Severino Center for Technological Entrepreneurship and the Lally School of Management at Rensselaer will honor an entrepreneurial team that recognized a business opportunity and weren’t dissuaded by the technology challenge ahead of them. This team developed the first PC-based “virtual classroom” and “web conferencing” software product using multi-casting and agent technology to manage the bandwidth on the network.
